(Book Club Interview) A Superhero is Born in the Midst of Chaos & Challenges…

by & filed under Blog.

“I think a hero is an ordinary individual who finds strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles. At first, dreams seem impossible, then improbable, and eventually inevitable.” ~ Christopher Reeve

One of the reasons the world love superheroes is they use their unique talents, passions, and powers to serve the world… their work, their family, their community. More than not, a superhero is born in the midst of chaos & challenges, sustained by the belief in ourselves and each other, and the passion to make a difference.

“With great power, comes great responsibility.” ~ Stan Lee

The world needs superheroes more today than ever before. Not the ones that can fly or shoot laser beams out of their eyes, but those who awaken and use their unique gifts and determination to be a force for good and inspire others in the process.

We believe that this all starts with your mind. Everything that we see in this world today only existed in someone’s imagination/idea once. As Jim Kwik (memory & reading) would put it, “to turn the invisible into the visible, it must go from your head to heart to hands.” The mental, emotional and physical. What’s your VISION, PASSION, & ACTION for the future?

In this post, we want to introduce you to one of our keynote speakers for the next SuperheroYou Brainpower event.

You may have heard of him, his name is Peter Diamandis. He is the founder of X-PRIZE Foundation and co-founder of Singularity University.

In his new book, Abundance, he talks about why the future is better than we think and what that means to us today.

We all have the power to help shape the story of the world, enjoy Peter’s recent TED Talk.
