Superhero Secrets: Dr. Jeff Spencer

We’ve had authors and Hollywood stars on #SuperheroSecrets. Next up? An Olympic athlete.

Today, Dr Jeff Spencer coaches people to their highest level of performance with his Champion’s Blueprint High Achievement Program. But in 1972, Dr Spencer was a member of the US Cycling Team in the Munich Summer Olympics.

In his program, Dr. Spencer teaches many lessons that he learned as an Olympian. These athletes are striving to overcome the limits of human potential, and the lessons Dr. Spencer teaches reflect our SuperheroYou ideology.

“We have sometimes more trust in our ability to fail than our ability to succeed,” said Dr. Spencer in the above video. “And so the most important lesson that I learned is if you just keep putting one foot in front of the other, you’re going to ultimately get to the finish line.”

Watch the video above to learn about life’s finish line, as Dr. Spencer espouses the importance of a legacy statement and what yours should include. You can check out his program here, then let us know what you thought in the comments, on Facebook or Tweet us @SuperheroYou!
