Superhero Secrets: Brendon Burchard and Dr. Mark Hyman, Part 1

Brendon Burchard is the New York Times bestselling author of The Motivation Manifesto, and founder of High Performance Academy. Dr. Mark Hyman has written 8 New York Times bestsellers, most recently the 10-Day Detox Diet, and is a health expert renowned the world over. So you can imagine how psyched we were to interview both of them together on this latest episode of #SuperheroSecrets.

In Part 1 of our 3-part interview, Brendon and Mark discuss their most recent projects, which are more similar than you might think. In reference to his latest book, Mark said the following:

“It’s really re-booting your body. Think of it like resetting. When the computer goes round and round and you can’t get the programs to work, you have to turn it off and restart the whole thing. It’s like that.”

Similarly, Brendon wrote The Motivation Manifesto as an alternative to the self-help genre.

“The Motivation Manifesto is a manifesto because I think we needed a clarion call that was stronger, more courageous and more directive than self-help,” he said.

So how is The Motivation Manifesto different? Why is the 10-Day Detox Diet so effective? Learn these and other fascinating stories (like why Brendon’s book almost didn’t get published) by watching the above video!
